The Child Nutrition Act, the federal legislation that  authorizes and funds  school meals, summer meals, WIC, Child Care, and other food programs that provide food for children, is up for reauthorization in 2015. In NYC, advocates have already begun to organize to influence this crucial legislation. What have we learned from recent efforts to improve school meals that can help us craft legislative solutions?  Hear leading advocates and scholars reflect on the state of local efforts and their implications for federal policy.
