There are some exciting and informative events happening on the web and around the city this week and next. Here are two highlights:

Today at 2pm ONLINE

Everything’s On The Table: What’s the Recipe for the Future of Food in NYC?” is a radio show developed by Food Systems Network NYC and Heritage Radio Network. The first episode premieres today at 2pm on Heritage Radio Network, called “Why Food Policy Should Matter to Voters”. Sign up

Monday, September 23rd at 6pm @ NYU

Nick Saul and Andrea Curtis’s book, “The Stop: How the Fight for Good Food Transformed a Community and Inspired a Movement” is a look at their work since 1998 to change a Canadian food bank (The Stop) into a community food center. Nick and Andrea have since left The Stop to start a nonprofit focused on bringing this approach to hunger and poverty to other cities. Join the authors for a presentation and discussion of their work this Monday, September 23rd at 6pm at NYU’s Kimmel Hall. RSVP
