At the workshops, happening on April 4th and 11th, WeAct will be exploring the future environmental and social impacts of climate change on Northern Manhattan, while also developing a long-term strategy for mitigating those impacts on local communities that suffer disproportionately from environmental pollution. In other words, the workshops are an opportunity to learn about the challenges that hurricanes and heat waves will present, while also creating our own vision for a clean environment, fair economy, and a city where communities are valued, not exploited.
