NY Food 2025: Policies for a Stronger, Healthier, More Just, and Sustainable Food System in NYC

March 16, 2022 @ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

n March 16th, NY Food 2025, a collaboration of the Hunter College New York City Food Policy Center, the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute, and the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education & Policy, Teachers College, Columbia University, held an online public forum titled “NY Food 2025: Policy Recommendations for a Stronger, Healthier, More Just, and Sustainable Food System in NYC.” Building on the first report detailing COVID-19’s impact on the NYC food system during the first six months of the crisis, this forum educated and inspired stakeholders to support food policies and programs that will ensure NYC emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic with a stronger, healthier, more just, and sustainable food system.

Moderator: Lisa Elaine Held, Senior Staff Reporter, Civil Eats
