Marion Nestle is Paulette Goddard Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University, which she chaired from 1988-2003. She is also Professor of Sociology at NYU and Visiting Professor of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell. She holds honorary degrees from Transylvania University in Kentucky (2012) and from the City University of New York’s Macaulay Honors College (2016).
In conversation with Rachna Govani of The Foodstand and Charles Platkin, PhD, JD, MPH, the executive director of the NYC Food Policy Center at Hunter College, we will discuss the soda industry, sugar, who’s doing what, and what we can do to change the paradigm.
