In the second half of 2023, we continued to highlight food policies around the world and local organizations and individuals doing important work in food systems. We focused on child nutrition through pieces on nutrition education in schools, food marketing to children, nutrition education programs for children and families, and universal free school meal programs. We explored issues around climate, sustainability, food access, and food waste, both locally and globally. We featured individuals and programs that bring communities together with food, and we discussed equity and diversity in food systems. Below is a recap of all the original pieces we have published from July through December, 2023.
