Farmers Markets & CSA’s
Farmers markets and community-support agriculture models (CSA) help create a more sustainable food system by making healthy, fresh, local food more accessible and affordable to East Harlem residents while supporting farmers and workers in the surrounding regions.
- Corbin Hill Food Project Farm-share pick up locations at Central Park East II Elementary (104th b/t Madison & Fifth) year-round and another in the summer at Urban Garden Center at La Marqueta (116th & Park)
- El Barrio Youth Marqueta 116th St and Park Avenue, at the entrance to the Urban Garden Center. July through November, Thursdays 1-7pm, Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm
- Mt. Sinai Hospital Greenmarket E 99 St. and Madison Ave. Wednesday 8-5
- 125th Street Farmers’ Market State Office Building Plaza at 125th St. Tuesday 10-5 and Friday 3-8
- Harvest Home East Harlem Market 104th Street and 3rd Ave. Thursday 8-4
- Harvest Home Metropolitan Market 99th St and 3rd Ave. Friday 8-4
