About

West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) alleviates hunger by ensuring all New Yorkers have access with dignity to a choice of healthy food and supportive services. WSCAH’s supermarket style pantry offers fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, protein, and dairy where customers can choose which foods best suit their diets and lifestyles. Beyond the provision of food, WSCAH offers a comprehensive suite of services aimed at helping customers on their journey to self-sufficiency. Benefits include: referrals to access shelter, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, financial counseling and tax preparation, educational programs, immigration legal assistance, and sign ups for health insurance, SNAP, SCRIE, and DRIE.
