Slow Money NYC is a national non-profit organization comprised of a network of food activists, investors and entrepreneurs that has a goal of steering investments towards sustainable food and farms. In addition to securing financing for local, sustainable food sources, Slow Money NYC provides a lot of education via events and public forums about the important connectedness between investing and food-system change. Their aim is to start local and build from there, with an ultimate goal of creating a better, more sustainable global food system.
