Discussion + Networking + Film Screening

Harvest Home, Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future and the New York City Food Policy Center at Hunter College are partnering with to host a screening of Food Frontiers, a documentary film that explores alternative ways to access fresh food. Food Froniers showcases projects from around the United States increasing access to healthy food in varied and innovative ways, including the work of Harvest Home.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion of distinguished food and policy experts.
Panelists include:
Adam Liebowitz, North Star Fund, Food and Environment Program Officer;
Barbara Turk, Director of Food Policy at Office the of Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services;
Javier Lopez, Assistant Commissioner Bureau of Systems Partnerships, Center for Health Equity at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene;
Leo Horrigan, Food System Correspondent at Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future;
